The JBFN Legacy
The JBFN Legacy
James Bond Film News was first established on 18 August 2016 by lifelong Bond fan and marketer Russell Frankel. What started as a passion project on Twitter under the usernames @Bond25Film and later @NO_TIME_TO_DIE quickly grew into its own distinctive brand with the thousands of followers it has today in over one hundred countries across the globe.
JBFN remained unique within the Bond community by fully dedicating itself to offering quality news surrounding the latest film without any frills. This focus guaranteed that every update was fresh and relevant.
During the 5–6 years between its launch and the release of No Time To Die in 2021, JBFN kept its original promise that it would cover all stages of the film’s development – from early pre-production to home release. This 281-week marathon involved non-stop news updates and the creation of hundreds of original graphics, making each news story more engaging and exciting than the last.
Now in 2023, marking JBFN’s 007th anniversary, the brand’s presence has further expanded across the web, Instagram and Facebook, thereby connecting with even more Bond fans across the globe to cover not only Bond 26 but Bond 27 and beyond.
